$1000 Bursary in June

This years Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 6 June 2018 - 7PM at the CIOE Community Radio, 11 Glendale Ave, Unit4, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. Last year the “New Arts Centre Design was Revealed” and the Cobequid Cultural Society (CCS) has been actively pursuing a site for our NEW facility.

The new facility will be a multifunctional creative learning and performance centre focusing on education and innovation, theatre, music, dance, performance, visual and digital arts, conventions, festivals and other special events. Features of the new 35,000 square foot Centre will include a 600 seat theatre, as well as several other exhibition and performance spaces. Plans also include various studio, rehearsal and support spaces.

The AGM will include presentation of annual committee reports and the election of officers for the coming year. Interested parties are invited to attend. Memberships will be available at the door. Refreshments and light snacks will also be served.
